In the Eye of the Beholder

In the Eye of the Beholder  (c) r a kukkee 2012

Yes, this is one of my latest photos,   I immediately named it "In the Eye of the Beholder" and isn't this the coolest?  Here at Incoming Bytes we do tend to fiddle around with everything, gardening, heaps,  apple trees and photos of everything. This is not a tomato, a potato or an apple, it is the world itself in the Eye of the Beholder...

Is that Incoming I hear?

  1. What a gorgeous shot! How did you get it? Glad to see you back. I was beginning to wonder if all was okay. Glad to see you in one piece. Hope the colors are turning beautiful your way. Enjoy your fall....Blessings...VK

    1. hi Vk, yes it is a beauty isn't it? Taken through a small aperture in brilliant light. Probably a one-in-a-lifetime shot.
Thank you for your concern, yes I'm fine --just busy, we are all absorbing life as quickly as possible at this point with many changes coming. "In the eye of the beholder" speaks to this issue, as you probably already figured out. The fall colors up here are magnificent-well, they were until today when it started raining. They always go dull after it rains a lot. Blessings to you too! Have a wonderful day! ~R

  4. It is! It's a special effect produced by altering the aperture of the camera and shooting through a second aperture. You can get some amazing effects by experimentation.... ":) ~R
